Harbor Beach

With its own private marina and the Harbor Beach Surf Club, with more than 300 feet of private shoreline, Harbor Beach is what many call “paradisiacal” in Fort Lauderdale’s real estate. Located between the Yankee Clipper and Pier 66 by the 17th street causeway, Harbor Beach is the perfect spot for boaters and those who enjoy the marine lifestyle.

Most of the area’s original elegance is accredited to L.C. Judd who developed Harbor Beach in the late 1930s to be a place where driveways look like auto shows, the landscaping is close to perfect, the streets are wide and canals are deep. However, many of the community’s original homes have been replaced by Mizner-style structures which appear more and more each year. Another common trend is for a new construction to be built on a double lot for even a more magnificent structure.

Certainly, another key advantage of Harbor Beach is that, despite its secluded and private atmosphere, it is within minutes from the port, Fort Lauderdale nightlife, fine waterfront dining, and prestigious Las Olas both by car and by boat.
